I was cleaning my apartment this week and I found very old drawings - some even from 2002 but I won't show them :) Here are some drawings I did in 2007 They are far from good and I like to think I could do better now :) At the time I was making them I was attending Portfolio Preparation Course in Limerick College of Further Education and all of the above were my homework life drawings of Tomek. I was very 'stressed' in them and couldn't loosen up even though I was trying - I was still afraid of the big white page in front of me.  All my skills and approach was straight from polish art course - it was all about the technique and I didn't know anything about creativity and was a bit scared when I discovered that I am able to make crazy thing as well: They are all a product of one night work :) I got crazy and was drawing to the music - as you can see it made me happy. This batch of drawings is the 'looses...

And another year is gone.... just one more left.... I am a bit upset that I won't be working in clay for another 3 months- at least it looks like it. I can't wait to have my own studio and do as much work as I want. :) Any way everything is packed now and you have seen all my work from this year.... I just thought I can share this with you  I was surprised when I discovered that I have a shoe box full of glaze tests :)  If I'll feel up for it I'll post the recipes and photos for all of them - but I don't know when I'll get to do that :) Have a nice summer and if you are in Dublin call in to Jam Art Factory to see my pieces :)  ps. One of my sets made its way to Jam Art Factory - a new gallery in Dublin located on St. Patrick Street The opening will take place on Wednesday 25th May so call in if you can :) I don't have a photo of the tiles inside but that the outside of the gallery :)

Finally I got everything out of the kiln and I am very happy with the results. Let me know what you think. Ps. sorry for the photos quality will change them soon.

I got 5 of my 11 tiles out of the kiln today and I am pretty happy with them- one is perfectly as I imagined it. I will put lusters on some of them on Wednesday so they are not completely finished.

I did some more work on the same test piece and that's how it looks now:  Please let me know what you think about them and keep in mind that they are just tests- I used them to try different decoration techniques before I start working on the real thing :) I'm still not sure about the results but maybe it's just the matter of adjusting the colours. Anyway I am quite happy with this test over all because I got few new ideas out of it :) Please help me out and tell me what you think!
